Mirza Teletovic will miss the remainder of the season. The Brooklyn Nets announced that the 6-9 forward is out for the year after being diagnosed with multiple blood clots in his lungs. Teletovic was taken to a local Los Angeles hospital in the middle of Thursday’s game against the Clippers after experiencing shortness of breath. He will remain in Los Angeles to undergo further testing and treatment. Teletovic will be unable to play because of the nature of the blood thinners he is taking. The 29-year-old is averaging 8.5 points and 4.9 rebounds this season. He signed a three-year, $15.6 million deal with Brooklyn as a free agent in 2012.
