Basically, the tracker hasn't updated for a new day yet, so it looks as thought i've gained a lot more experience today than I actually have:

I think I gained around 1.1m construction exp yesterday, but for some reason it didn't update to start a new days worth of gains

This is typically caused be one of two things:

1. Jagex's highscores not updating when you logged out.
2. You gained the experience on Day X, but did not logout until well after 2AM (EST) on the next day.

I know for a fact this is not the case, because I had been tracking my gains all day yesterday upon every log out. And before I went to bed the final total of the xp I had gained through the whole day was around 1.1m.

I didn't do all that xp in 1 go without logging out, so it can't be option 2, and the fact I'd even seen the xp on there proves it wasn't option 1.

On a side note, the system seems to have updated now to say I've gained no xp today at all - when in reality I've gained a simliar amout to yesterday - it's also not showing that I achieved a new personal daily record in my top 10 either. (With or without the glitch of 2 days adding into one, it should have been in my top 10 personal daily bests)

It's also added that I got both 98 and 99 construction yesterday (monday)

When actually I gained 98 yesterday (monday), and 99 today (tuesday)

Unfortunatly the system update occurred later than it should have for some profiles, making some xp gained today appear to have been gained yesterday. This has now been fixed, and everything has been stabilized. Note that none of these inflated xp gains were used as Global Records, so no biased Global Records were created.

I apologize for any inconvenience caused by this - let me know if you spot any further issues.

The system update will occur at its proper time tonight, so after that everything will be back on track.

I got 4531767 smith xp that day (as recorded on a different tracking site during the time that should have been recorded that day), which would have put me in 7th in global records for smithing on the first day of that stuff. But as a result of the bug it doesn't appear on there at all.

I can give you the site if you want me to (only reason I'm not posting it is because it could be seen as advertising a competitor).

edit: plus of course I now have a ridiculous personal daily record that I never actually got.

Sorry about this - it appears the System Update ran later than it was supposed to yesterday.

No Global Records were affected by this - however, if you believe you qualified for one but didn't receive it, just post here and I'll re-construct your exact xp to determine whether you obtained a Global Record for yesterday.

In happier news - I took some time today to completely re-organize the System Update scripts and move them on to a new server. From what I can tell, the migration was successful, as the System Update ran properly (and a bit faster!) just a couple hours ago.

Though as usual, if you notice anything odd, please post it here so I can take a look - thanks!

I got the glitch too + some transferred xp from one day to the next one in the Farming skill.

10.29.11 is 0, should be 773,973
10.28.11 is 1,727,110, should be 782,000* (not 953,137 = 1,727,110 - 773,973)
10.27.11 is 610,980, should be 782000*

*an average estimation because I didn't write it down when I realized it.

What is changing after the fix :

Might add 1 Best Farming Xp Gained In a Week (Oct 22 - Oct 29, 2011) and improve 1 (Oct 21 - Oct 28, 2011).

09.28.11 is 1,416,727, should be 656,263 (1,416,727 - 760.464)
09.27.11 is 0, should be 760.464 (142,782,011 - 142,021,547)

There are some more transferred xp from one day to another glitchs, but nothing serious.
