I bought a car cover last Fall to keep the winter dust, etc. off. When I put it on for the first time I noted that it's fit was rather on the large size - too long and comes to the floor along the sides. I didn't think it was a big deal so did not try to return it. Up until last week I had been keeping the cover on when the car was put away but last weekend when I pulled the cover off there was moisture under the car and also in the cover in the ends (the ends have elastic so they grip and curl in under the bumpers. I definitely don't want moisture under the car let alone on the inside of the cover. Unfortunately, I can't find the receipt for this thing so can't tell you from which online store I bought it. I think it was $100 or $120.

I stored a Miata in the same spot for 6 years also with a car cover but never had this problem. The Miata cover fit much more exacting to the shape and didn't drag or drape to the floor.

Would greatly appreciate some input on what you all use for car covers.

Ceramic coating for cars is an extra layer to add to the paint on top of your clear, which lasts for a long period of time, to be completely honest, it is not viable for most. It is best suited for very high end show cars that have original paint and want the original paint to stay as intact as possible for as long as possible. Most people are fine.
