Also it was a few weeks back and i realized that for one particular day the xp gain for everyone was not shown at all when it updated. I wudda been 18th or 19th on woodcutting but it never even went onto my personal records and my levels gained for the day didnt show up on the side bar for recently gained levels.

Unfortunately on May 19 there was a Jagex highscores error for a few accounts making the stats for that day unavailable - so that is likely what you experienced.
