I'm afraid your assumptions are inaccurate. RuneTrack does not use any information from the Adventure Logs (in fact, see this suggestion thread where it's been requested that I add Adventure Log features for more complete tracking: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=111). It's on my list of features to implement eventually, but currently RuneTrack does not extract any data whatsoever from the Adventure Logs. All of the highscores data comes directly from Jagex's public lite highscores which they encourage RuneScape fansites to use.
If you're implying that fansites shouldn't be able to store this information and attach time stamps to it based on when it was captured - that doesn't make much sense either. If that were the case, then sites like Google couldn't exist, because Google archives a public website's content with a time stamp in order to allow it to be searched at a later time, just like RuneTrack archives public stats information so it can be searched for at a later time.

I'm not really sure what you mean by this - Jagex are the ones releasing player highscores for free and open use (as they should) - not RuneTrack. We're just one of the many sites that uses some of the data feeds they provide. I do wonder why you are not equally (or more logically, more so) agitated by what Jagex is doing. If you consider this a matter of privacy, then your concerns should be directed at Jagex, as they are the ones who are providing us this data.
