Greetings Sword Kill,
Im having problems with my name change. I just changed my name from "IzziCensored" to "o0 IZZI 0o" but when I tried to change on name here on Rune Track I get an error message. I double checked that it shows on RS hiscores and it does. The only problem I can see is that the "o" (oh) gets capitalized automatically and perhaps when it checks hiscores it doesnt show up that way. The clan is having a competition this week and I need to get this sorted if possible, please help.

Thank you for your time and for providing a great service to the RS community,
IZZI

Swrod Kill,
After waiting a little bit I tried it again and now its locating and displaying the correct name. A new question, can the "o" be made to display as lower case as in "o0 IZZI 0o" instead of "O0 IZZI 0o"?

Again, any assistance would be greatly appreciated,
IZZI

Hi o0 IZZI 0o,

Glad you were able to get the name changed. :) I'm not sure what the issue was, but it could have been that your display name change took a bit of time to update on Jagex's lite highscores (their raw data source, not the visual highscores). But it seems to be all good now.

As for how usernames display - unfortunately the Jagex highscores do not provide information on a name's capitalization, so knowing how a name is really supposed to appear in terms of capitalization is difficult. There may be a way to do it via the Adventure's Log, which I'll have to look into though.
