Chelsea Cesc Fabregas speaks about his 'love' for Jose Mourinho

Image

ลิ้ ง sbo Chelsea's Cesc Fabregas says he owes Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho a debt of gratitude for handing him a second chance in English football. But the Spain international is hoping to help spoil Mourinho's day on Saturday, when the Blues take on United in the FA Cup final.

Win or lose at Wembley, Fabregas says he is full of admiration for the man who signed him for Chelsea in 2014, bringing him back to England from Barcelona, after an earlier spell with Arsenal. The pair went on enjoy title success that season - with Fabregas registering a league-leading 18 assists. And, ahead of his reunion with Mourinho, the 31-year-old said: "I love him, I always say that. "I owe him a lot because he brought me here, I will always remember that.

"My first year here, (former Arsenal manager) Arsene (Wenger) had always treated me like a son. But the closest anyone has been to him was Jose. "The way he treated me, the way he made me feel, how he let me be a leader of the team from day one. "This was fantastic and, in all the four years since I joined Chelsea now, they will always stay with me. ลิ้ ง sbo

"This experience is thanks to him."
Fabregas has spent a large part of his career in opposition to Mourinho - the early years of his stint at Arsenal coincided with Mourinho's arrival as manager of Chelsea, while he was also part of a Barcelona side which battled for Spanish supremacy with Mourinho's Real Madrid. "We have our history between us," Fabregas added. "I played for Arsenal and him at Chelsea. Barcelona, with him Real Madrid.

"We were confronting each other, but then we humbled ourselves and started a good relationship. "This is very nice but hopefully it will not be his day (on Saturday) and Chelsea can win. "Anything can happen really. Last year everyone was saying Chelsea will win it and we played one of our worst games of last season (and lost to Arsenal). "Mourinho prepares finals very well and I am sure Antonio (Conte) will do the same." ลิ้ ง sbo

Why Chelsea need to move quickly if they want to sign Liverpool target Nabil Fekir this summer

Image

sbo666 Liverpool are set to step up their interest in Lyon star Nabil Fekir after Saturday's Champions League final against Real Madrid in Kiev, according to the Liverpool Echo. Linked with a move to Arsenal in the past, the French international has come to the attention of both Chelsea and Jurgen Klopp's side ahead of next season.

Named in France's squad for next month's World Cup in Russia, the 24-year-old has once again made a big impression in Ligue 1 for Lyon over the past year. With 23 goals and nine assists in 40 appearances in all competitions for the French side, Liverpool view Fekir as a replacement for Philippe Coutinho, who joined Barcelona for £142million in January.

Reports in France have continuously linked the player with a move to Anfield and a deal could well come to fruition in the summer. Speaking to RTL in France on Thursday evening, Fekir, when asked about a possible move to the Reds ahead of next season, said: "Why not? Later there can be discussions with the president, with my entourage, to make a decision. sbo666

"In life, nothing can be forbidden."
Given that it is likely that Fekir will move on from the French club in the not too distant future, Chelsea will need to get a move on if they want to lure him to Stamford Bridge. With Liverpool set to step up their pursuit of the player next week, they could well look to agree on a deal before the World Cup as his valuation could rise even more if he can repeat his club form on the international stage. sbo666

Forget it Pochettino – Why Tottenham would be insane in trying to sign this relegated attacker

Image

sbobet asian Tottenham Hotspur have a solid attacking lineup but in the absence Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min, they don’t have a third option to rely on. Spurs are over-reliant on Kane in particular, meaning they need to sign someone who can take responsibility and produce good results. It sounds simple, except that they haven’t been able to find a quality player for that role and one thing is certain – Salomon Rondon is not a good choice.

While he would prove to be an upgrade on Fernando Llorente, Rondon is not on an even keel to both the other forwards. The Sun claims that Tottenham are harbouring an interest in the West Brom star but perhaps they should steer away from this one.

Move to another mid-table club seems prudent
Rondon needs to move to a mid-table club if he wants to continue playing regular football. As far as clubs are concerned, it goes without saying that Tottenham are definitely an upgrade when compared to West Brom. However, the move would not be an upgrade for Rondon himself. sbobet asian

He will have to play understudy to Kane and perhaps even Son, despite being at the prime of his footballing years. Given the circumstances, this definitely isn’t a prospect should look forward to.

The report from The Sun has also credited West Ham United with an interest and Rondon will be better off with the Hammers. For now, the Venezuelan must prioritize joining a club where he can be the main man. After all, he is a player with great skills and excellent attacking qualities.

Moving to a club that makes the most of his skills will elevate the player’s profile and in doing so, Rondon will get to the next level. He is definitely not done with English football and for a player who has a point to prove following West Brom’s relegation, this is the best time for clubs to capitalize and get the best out of him. sbobet asian
