The group supporting women and girls suffering from sexual violence will receive £5 million in funding from the Scottish Government.

The large amount of funds announced by equality minister Christina McKelvie will go towards aiding Scottish women and the rape crisis in Scotland.
The two organizations will share £4.5 million.
The remaining £500,000 will be split between 12 groups of specialists providing support services.
The minister released details of the grant, emphasizing that “violence against women and girls is one of the most serious violations of fundamental human rights. and totally unacceptable.
