Tried resetting your Account Live password, but failed because you didn't receive the code? Well, in this case, you can use another method of the Account Live password reset process. The first step of this method asks you to visit account.live.com/acsr instead of account.live.com/password/reset. Now, enter your registered email address, the email associated with your Microsoft account. In the next text box, write down an alternate email address, the email ID you want to use for resetting your Account Live password. Enter the captcha code correctly in the given box and click Continue. Now, log in to your provided alternate email ID by entering its password. Search for the Microsoft password reset email and retrieve the code. Go back to the Account Live password reset page, enter the code, and set a new password. Confirm the new password by typing it again. In case, if you do not have an alternate email ID to be used for resetting the password, then hit "Create a new one with Outlook.com" link (available right below to the text box, where you have to enter the alternate email address). Complete the registration process for creating a new ID and then use this newly created ID for resetting the Account Live password.
