(SportsNetwork.com) - The Winnipeg Jets hope to keep their point streak intact going into the All-Star break as they play host to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Wednesday night at MTC Centre. The Jets have won a season-high four straight games and are 5-0-1 in their past six thanks to Sundays 4-3 shootout win over the Arizona Coyotes. Winnipegs run has it two points behind the third-place Chicago Blackhawks in the Central Division. Bryan Little helped to key Sundays win as he scored in regulation and then had the lone marker in the shootout to help Winnipeg pick up a win despite blowing a late two-goal lead. Little began the third round by beating Mike Smith high to the glove side and under the crossbar. Shane Doan could have kept the game going, but shot into the pads of Winnipegs Ondrej Pavelec to end the contest. We didnt make it easy on ourselves, Little said. You know thats an area weve been pretty good at this year, holding leads and playing good third periods. But tonight we let it slip a bit. It still feels good to get both points. Dustin Byfuglien and Michael Frolik scored in regulation for the Jets and Pavelec ended with 28 saves. Byfuglien has three goals and three assists over the four-game winning streak and the defenseman was named the NHLs First Star for the week on Monday. Winnipeg has not won five straight since April 6-18, 2013. The Jets are not expected to have forward Mathieu Perreault in the lineup again tonight after he suffered a fractured arm following a cross-check from Chicago forward Dan Carcillo on Friday. Carcillo was suspended six games for his actions. However, blueliner Jacob Trouba is on the verge of returning from a lower-body injury that has sidelined him for the past 16 games. Trouba practiced at defense on Tuesday and will return to game action when he is medically cleared, which could happen as early as today. Winnipeg head coach Paul Maurice may continue his goaltender rotation tonight and go with Michael Hutchinson, who beat the Blue Jackets the only time he faced them. That came in a 4-2 win on Nov. 25 in Columbus, with Hutchinson making 32 saves. Evander Kane had a pair of goals and Little also tallied, while Ryan Johansen had a goal for Columbus and Sergei Bobrovsky made 28 saves in the loss. The Jets beat the Blue Jackets for only the second time in the past nine meetings and Columbus has won four straight on the road in this series. Bobrovsky figures to start tonight and is just 1-3-1 versus the Jets with a 3.90 goals against average and .881 save percentage in six meetings. He made 25 saves in a 3-1 win over the Minnesota Wild on Monday, including a stop of Zach Parises penalty-shot attempt in the second period. James Wisniewski had a key goal and also assisted on tallies by Scott Hartnell and Brandon Dubinsky as the Blue Jackets have picked up two straight wins on the road following a four-game slide overall. It seems like when we stick with it, we get results, said Dubinsky. Weve got to find a way to keep climbing. Johansen, meanwhile, saw his club-record 13-game point streak come to an end despite the win. He had eight goals and 16 points over the run. The Blue Jackets play the last of three straight on the road and return home on Tuesday to face the Washington Capitals. That will come after Columbus hosts this weekends All-Star Game festivities. Paul Merson and Phil Thompson go head-to-head in a special Euro 2016 Sky Sports Fantasy Six-a-Side challenge as they look to land £1,000 for their charity of choice.Englands opening clash in Group B against Russia is Saturdays opening fixture in the best of seven showdown, with Roy Hodgsons men bidding to kick their campaign off with a win in Marseille. Both men will be playing for a £1,000 to their chosen charity with Merse nominating Children with Cancer and Thommo looking to raise money for Nugent Care.Heres who the Soccer Saturday pundits are selecting...Merses teamHarry Kane - Kane is a certain starter so Ive gone with a safe option here. I wish hed stop taking free-kicks and corners and get in the box, though, it infuriates me! Hes just won the Golden Boot, hell be a real threat if he gets himself in the box.Chris Smalling - Smalling is a better defender than Gary Cahill in my opinion and, having scored against Portugal, it wouldnt surprise me if he scored again. Its funny how goals come in patches.Eric Dier - Im playing safe and going with Dier. Hes almost certainly going to start and hell be solid in midfield as he always is. I just hope he can curb his aggressive side because hell no doubt be getting wound up on Saturday.Jack Wilshere - Wilshere has got to play, hasnt he? I cant see how Wilshere doesnt start. Ive got to go with who I believe should be playing, not with who Roy may pick.Igor Akinfeev - Tactical pick here. England should be better than Russia so I suspect Akinfeev will be the busieer of the two goalkeepers.ddddddddddddAlexander Kokorin - I watched highlights of Kokorin a while back and he looked decent. Russia are going to try and keep the ball and he could be the player to convert that possession into goals. Pick your team now Think you can pick a better side? Select your VI here. Thommos teamWayne Rooney - Rooney is my elite pick. Theres a lot of talk about where Roy will play Rooney but for me hes a certain starter just behind Harry Kane. His experience will be key to the way England will play and will probably take a penalty if England get one. Kyle Walker - Walkers energy will be vital to whichever system England play with. Hell get plenty of the ball and will be bombing down the right hopefully creating openings for Kane.Gary Cahill - Ive gone for Gary Cahill as hes always likely to pop up with a vital goal from a set-piece. Hes may be not had the best of seasons for Chelsea but hes another certain starter against Russia.Eric Dier - One of the first names on the team-sheet and crucial to protecting Englands vulnerable back four. If England dominate possession, as I think they will, Dier will get lots and touches.Igor Akinfeev - I expect England to have all the ball so it could turn out to be a busy evening for the Russian keeper.James Milner - Im a big fan of James Milner and believe hell start. He has the ability to play in lots of positions and I think his tireless work will free up Rooney and Kane to create some damage.
