RIO DE JANEIRO, Feb. 23 (Xinhua) -- Day five of the 20th FINA diving World Cup took place on Tuesday at the Maria Lenk Aquatics Center as the tournament nears its conclusion.


Chinese superstar and reigning world champion Qiu Bo would start the men's blue riband event the 10m platform as favorite in the preliminary round prior to final.


Qiu's superiority was there for all to see and he comfortably took first place in the qualifying for the final with a score of 535.15.
