The Montreal Canadiens look to avenge last months blowout loss to the red-hot Chicago Blackhawks and re-establish their dominance following a rough patch Friday night in Chicago. You can listen to the game live on TSN Radio 690 Montreal starting at 7pm et/4pm pt. Brad Richards, Patrick Kane and Kris ?Versteeg all scored against Carey Price in a 5-0 win at Montreal on Nov. 4. The Canadiens (17-8-2) bounced back from that game to win six straight and Price has since posted a 1.71 goals-against average, but his team heads into the rematch in a funk. Montreal has dropped four of five to lose its lead atop the East, including a 2-1 defeat in Minnesota on Wednesday behind just 19 shots. When we have success, its for a reason: were all on the same page and we all play a certain way, club points leader Max Pacioretty said. When we get away from that, were just another team. When we play the way were capable of ... thats when we have success and thats when were a great team. The primary reason for the Canadiens recent woes has been their offensive shortcomings. Montreals already average offense, which scored 2.68 goals per game through the seasons first 19, has averaged 1.88 in the last eight. Tomas Plekanec ranks second on the team with 18 points but has one in the past five games. David Desharnais, who had 16 goals last season, has scored one in his last 20 games. Patrick Sharp led Chicago with 34 goals last season but hasnt played since suffering a knee injury in the first meeting with Montreal. Sharp skated with the team this week, though, and may return Friday. Chicagos Antti Raanta performed well Wednesday with 40 saves in place of Corey Crawford (foot) and will likely start Friday as well. Montreal has lost all four of its visits to the United Center since winning there Feb. 27, 2002. The Blackhawks recent stretch has seen them roll through some of the best the Western Conference can offer. The Blackhawks (16-8-1) have won a season-high four straight and nine of 11 after taking care of Central Division-leading St. Louis 4-1 on Wednesday. Their previous two victories were by the same score, beating defending Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles and West-leading Anaheim. Weve been playing the right way, particularly lately, coach Joel Quenneville said. Eventually, you get your turn. Wednesday marked Chicagos return home after a 10-day, six-game road trip which included five victories. The Blackhawks have averaged 4.7 goals in the last eight games, compared to 2.5 through their first 17. We have way more pace to our game, Quenneville said. Way more directness, way more consistency, better thought process. Everybodys excited right now. We got some momentum and everybodys having fun with it. We came together on that trip and got it going. Kane has led the charge with eight goals and seven assists over his last nine games after scoring twice Wednesday. Linemate Versteeg assisted on both of Kanes goals and has 14 points in his last eight contests. Richards has also displayed the talent level Chicago hoped to see after signing the 34-year-old center in the offseason. Richards has three goals and two assists in his last three games. He had only three goals through his first 22 games. Air Max 2018 . "Im not doing enough to help them," Durant told The Oklahoman on Monday of his 28-9 team. "Im shooting too much. Im shooting too many threes. Im not helping them out at all. Nike Air Max 90 Essential Heren . Helwani said that Weidman has been dealing with recurring swelling and pain in his knees related to torn meniscus he suffered as a teenager and the problems came to a head last week when he suffered prolonged swelling and pain in his left knee, resulting in the decision to undergo an arthroscopic scope procedure to clean up the tear in both knees. http://www.2018airmax.nl/air-max-2017-heren-sale.html. As each game passes (each has played close with the exception of last night) it becomes clearer just how evenly matched these two teams are and how one mistake, or one bad inning, is likely to sway the result.(SportsNetwork.com) - Melky Cabrera tries to continue his torrid start to the season on Wednesday when the Toronto Blue Jays resume a three-game set with the Houston Astros at Rogers Centre. Cabrera homered for the fourth straight game in Tuesdays opener and Toronto rolled, 5-2. Dioner Navarro went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI and Edwin Encarnacion went 1-for-1 with three walks and two runs scored for the Blue Jays, who evened their record at 4-4. Toronto starter Mark Buehrle (2-0), who punched out 11 batters in his season debut against Tampa Bay, tossed 5 1/3 innings on Tuesday, allowing eight hits and one run with three strikeouts and a walk. "Im not striking out 11, Im not going to strikeout 11 guys in my next five starts combined," said Buehrle. "I need my defense behind me." Brett Oberholtzer (0-2) absorbed the loss for the Astros and surrendered three runs on three hits with three walks and three strikeouts in 5 1/3 frames. "I thought he did a good job keeping us in the ball game," said Astros manager Bo Porter on Oberholtzer. "Those last two walks in the sixth really hurt us. We had our opportunities. We had men on base with less than two outs. When you get in those situations you have to capitalize." Cabrera managed just three home runs all of lasst season, a year that saw him miss time with leg injuries before having a benign tumor removed from his spine Aug.dddddddddddd 30. With another home run on Wednesday Cruz would become the first Blue Jay to homer in five straight games since Jose Cruz Jr. went deep in six in a row Sept. 29-Oct. 5, 2001. "I feel 100 percent now and Im ready to go. Its good. I dont have any pain now," said Cabrera. Hoping to slow him down will be righty Lucas Harrell, who picked up right where he left off last season in his initial start of the season. Harrell lost a league-high 17 games a year ago and started his 2014 campaign off with a loss on Friday to Los Angeles, as the Angels battered him for five runs and seven hits in just three innings. "Its over with and on to the next start," Harrell said. "Ill get better for my next start." Toronto, meanwhile, will counter with right-hander Brandon Morrow, who lost to Tampa Bay his first time out. Morrow surrendered four runs and seven hits in five innings of that one. "It was just one of those things where you think you threw better than the end results," Morrow said. Toronto was 4-3 against the Astros last season. On Wednesday afternoon, the Jays optioned pitcher Marcus Walden to Triple-A Buffalo and recalled pitcher Neil Wagner.
