MILWAUKEE -- Chris Bosh scored 14 points, LeBron James had 13, and the short-handed Miami Heat wrapped up their three-game trip through the Midwest with an 88-67 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks. David Backes Jersey . James Jones added 10 for Miami in place of star guard Dwyane Wade, sidelined a second straight game with a sore hamstring. The Heat also played without Ray Allen and Mario Chalmers. It didnt matter against the team with the NBAs worst record. Milwaukee tried to match Miamis energy, but couldnt keep with the more talented opponent -- even one without two All-Stars. Defence keyed Miamis win. The Heat led 46-29 at halftime and held the Bucks to a season low for points in a half and in a game. John Henson had 12 points and 10 rebounds for Milwaukee. On paper, this was a mismatch from the opening tip -- the two-time defending NBA champions against a young, undermanned squad that fell to 14-59 on the season. But the Heat at times played a bit disheveled, perhaps a little worn from their third straight road game and fourth in five contests. James extended his consecutive-game streak of double-digit scoring to 564, the fourth-longest run in NBA history. But James only got to 10 with about 5:16 left in the third quarter on a 3. Fresh off recording a triple-double in a 110-78 blowout win Friday night in Detroit, James had nearly as many turnovers (three) as points (four) in the first half. His two early buckets, though, came off open dunks that thrilled the crowd, a few of whom were wearing James jerseys. Miami opened the game 3-of-14 from the field. The shooting improved, and the Heat clamped down on the other end and held the Bucks to 12-of-39 shooting (30 per cent) in the first half, and 34 per cent for the game. The Heat held an opponent under 40 per cent shooting for the fourth straight game, and ended their road trip with two straight wins after losing Wednesday in Indiana. Just like Friday night, James spent the fourth quarter on the bench with a victory well in hand. The only drama in the second half when James would get to double digits in scoring. A dunk with 6 minutes left in the third gave Milwaukee a 54-38 lead. Khris Middleton missed a jumper, and James corralled the rebound before spotting up at the wing for his 3 to get to double figures. Zaza Pachulia and Udonis Haslem exchanged buckets before Pachulia missed a jumper with about 4 minutes left. James got the rebound and then threw a long outlet pass to streaking Haslem down court for a layup. James clapped, slapped his right hand on his thigh and waited down court on defence. His night was just about over. Ramon Sessions had a game-high 15 points for Milwaukee, while Toney Douglas and Rashard Lewis each added 13 for the Heat. Bothered by a sore hamstring, Wade watched in a grey suit and white sneakers in returning to the arena in which he played college ball at Marquette. NOTES: Allen, sidelined with a stomach virus, played in Milwaukee from 1996 through part of the 2002-03 season. He holds the franchise record for most 3-point field goals in a game at home with 10. ... Chalmers missed the game with a bruised quad, and Greg Oden was also sidelined by back spasms.... The Bucks have yet to win consecutive games all season. They were coming off a 108-105 win Thursday over the Lakers. Blake Wheeler Jersey . The top-ranked Williams carried her winning momentum from 2013 into the new season, beating No. 2-ranked Victoria Azarenka 6-4, 7-5 on Saturday to defend her title at the Brisbane International and set the tone for the Australian Open. Derek Stepan Jersey . Duhamel, from Lively, Ont., and Radford, from Balmertown, Ont., were third with 210.84 points. Teammates Kirsten Moore-Towers of St. Catharines, Ont., and Dylan Moscovitch of Toronto were fourth. Duhamel and Radford, who were seventh at the Sochi Olympics, also won bronze at last years world championships in London, Ont. PORTLAND, Ore. -- Damian Lillard hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with 1:27 to play and finished with 29 points to lead the Portland Trail Blazers to a 110-107 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday night. Lamarcus Aldridge and Wesley Mathews added 18 points apiece for the Trail Blazers, who won for the sixth time in seven games. Ryan Anderson and Tyreke Evans each missed on 3-point attempts in the final 5 seconds and the Pelicans (11-14) lost their fourth consecutive game of a five-game swing that concludes Monday at Sacramento. Robin Lopez had 14 points and eight rebounds and Nicholas Batum added 11 points to help the Trail Blazers rebound from Wednesdays 120-109 loss at Minnesota. Anthony Davis and Evans finished with 21 points each to pace five New Orleans players in double figures. The Pelicans hit eight of their first 11 shots including 3-pointers by Anderson and Eric Gordon to take an 18-7 lead after the opening 5:36. Portlands Dorell Wright scored on a layup to pull the Blazers within 32-30 with 8:27 to play in the second quarter, but the Pelicans answered with a 17-6 run, opening their largest lead of the half, 49-36, on Alexis Ajincas layup with 4:05 to play. Lillard, held without a field goal in the first quarter, hit 5 of 7 shots in the second, including a 3-pointer that put the Blazers on top 52-51 with 29 seconds left in the half. Anthony Davis followed with a dunk off an offensive rebound to give the Pelicans a 53-52 lead at the break. T. J. Oshie Jersey. After shooting 40 per cent (20 of 50) in the first half, the Blazers made 7 of 11 shots to open the third quarter and took a 69-59 lead when Batum set up Aldridge in transition for a dunk. The Pelicans crept back within three before Lillard made an acrobatic catch and shot on Batums inbounds lob just before the third-quarter buzzer to give the Blazers an 83-78 advantage. In the fourth, New Orleans erased another 10-point deficit and took a 105-103 lead when Davis followed up a miss by Evans and dunked with 2:19 remaining. After an offensive foul on Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday gave the ball back to Portland, Lillard hit a shot from deep beyond the top of the arc to give the Blazers the lead for good. The Blazers are off until they host the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday. NOTES: Portland coach Terry Stotts said there is no timeline on a return for rookie guard CJ McCollum, who participated in a full practice Friday for the first time since fracturing his left foot during practice on Oct. 5. . The last time the Blazers had fewer than 10 losses through 28 games was in 1999-2000, when they started 21-7 en route to a monumental fourth-quarter meltdown in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals against the Lakers. . Lillard went into Saturdays game averaging 21.3 points and ranked third in the league among point guards behind Golden States Stephen Curry (24.5) and Clevelands Kyrie Irving (21.8).
