Anyone think slay isn't as profitable now? Whips are 500k g mauls are like 30k...etc etc

I have 97 slayer and it is terrible profit at this point. I high alch g mauls and don't bother selling whips and d bows.

Slayer xp is faster than ever. Back in the original days(when I got 99), 10-12k xp/hr was considered really good. Now it's nearly 4x as fast for an average player. Pretty crazy. As far as profit, it's horrible unfortunately. Hopefully with bots being gone indefinitely prices will go back up.

I don't have a high slayer level on my main, but I want to get it to 99 incase new slayer monsters come out. I think the drop rate of whips is pretty low so the reduction in price isnt really a bother. Yes it sucks but it is also more affordable to own one and if you risk something more expensive you'll only lose whip at 400k.

Slayer drops have decreased in value, but at the same time, some of the 'junk' items sell pretty well on the grand exchange. Pretty much every Kuradal sets for example drops excessive quantities of fire runes, which sell for 35gp each due to the Polypore Staff update.

I'm level 84 slayer, and I just made 8m in a week of not really playing that much, without getting any actual 'Slayer drops'.

Hmm.. I think all of the posts on this forum is old.
